“Michele Buscarnera” Green Park

A children’s area, a fitness area, a Zen garden and an area for dog walking: there is all this and much more at the Green Park Michele Buscarnera in Sciacca, the park created by CIG Consulting in a municipal area in the San Marco district and dedicated to the memory of the engineer Michele Buscarnera, known in the city for his professional activity and his cutting-edge ideas.

The park, in fact, takes inspiration from one of his latest projects. Having passed away prematurely, his children Cristina and Giuseppe decide to make it a reality: thanks to their participation in the public tender “Make the city more beautiful” they manage to obtain the assignment of the land, previously abandoned, to take care of it.

“When my brother and I asked ourselves how we could honor our father’s memory it was easy to think of this project. – explains Cristina Buscarnera – We therefore decided to make an investment to give new life to the neighborhood and provide a meeting space for the community”.

The creation of the Michele Buscarnera Green Park in Sciacca represents a regeneration intervention that allows citizens and generations to meet.
